Apple Fritter is the creation of longtime producer Lumpy’s Flowers. After making a 2nd place splash at the 2016 NorCal Cup for its taste and aroma, Apple Fritter made it into High Times list for 2017. Apple Fritter has olive-green nugs with long orange-red pistils that contrast its purple hues. The buds are fairly long and slender, with pointy tips jutting out in all directions. There’re a few different takes on the smells and flavors of Apple Fritter, with most describing both the earthy, sweet, dough-like characteristics of the Girl Scout Cookies lineage and a sour or tart fruity side that makes it smell a bit like a cheesy apple pastry with a buttery lemon crust. Permanent Marker's funky, diesel stank lingers in your nose and slowly diminishes until all that’s left is a faint sugary aroma bringing to mind a floral spring breeze.
